Terms of Service

Effective: April 17, 2026

By using RedFlag (rfdocs.net) and any associated mobile applications, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What RedFlag Is

RedFlag is an AI-powered informational tool that analyzes contract text and provides plain-English explanations, risk scores, and suggested negotiation language. RedFlag is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney. The analysis provided is informational only and should not be relied upon as legal counsel.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use RedFlag.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive purposes.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

Free tier: 2 contract scans per calendar month, no credit card required.

Pro tier: Unlimited scans, scan history, PDF export, and additional features. Pro is available as a monthly ($9.99/month) or yearly ($79/year) subscription, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time.

4. Contract Content You Submit

You retain ownership of all contract text and photos you submit to RedFlag. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it through our AI analysis pipeline for the sole purpose of returning your analysis results.

You represent that you have the right to submit the contract content you provide. Do not submit contracts containing content that is illegal, that you do not have authorization to share, or that contains sensitive personal information of third parties (Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, etc.).

5. AI Analysis Limitations

RedFlag's analysis is generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Specifically:

  • Risk scores are approximate assessments, not definitive legal judgments
  • Clause identification may miss provisions or misinterpret legal language
  • Negotiation scripts are suggestions, not guaranteed to be legally sound or effective
  • Analysis may not account for jurisdiction-specific laws or regulations
  • Photo-based scans depend on image quality and may misread text

Always consult a licensed attorney before making legal decisions based on any contract analysis.

6. Limitation of Liability

RedFlag is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedFlag, its owner, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

  • Decisions made based on AI analysis
  • Contracts signed or not signed based on RedFlag's output
  • Financial losses resulting from reliance on the analysis
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or analysis errors

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use RedFlag to analyze contracts for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service
  • Submit content designed to exploit, attack, or manipulate the AI system
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account
  • Resell or redistribute RedFlag's analysis output as a competing service

8. Intellectual Property

The RedFlag name, logo, website design, and AI analysis methodology are the intellectual property of RedFlag. You may not use our branding without written permission. The analysis reports generated for you are yours to use, share, and print as you see fit.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of RedFlag after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
